A faceted round amethyst sits proud in a custom made collet setting on a barrel shaped ring. The amethyst measures 7mm wide and sits on a 10mm wide sterling band. The ring band has been domed for a comfortable fit, with 9 carat yellow gold wire and ball highlights contrasting against a lightly oxidised background. The silver band has been carefully worked in to around the centre front with tiny circular indents, many of my designs include detailed textures and layers of varied finishes to create an ancient and moody artisan feel.

This ring is a UK size N. It has been hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
