Earth toned andesine labradorite in angled nugget shapes make for an interesting necklace, detailed with a hand forged yellow gold hook catch. The catch has been created from recycled 9k yellow gold and hallmarked at London Assay office. This unusual gemstone is formed from Andesine ( originally discovered in the Andes mountains) and labradorite ( originally discovered on the coast of Labrador) . The gemstone offers varying tones of warm reds/oranges and browns with occasional flashes of green that are revealed in certain light, like most labradorite, with its magical flashes and rainbows.
The strand has soft pink silk knotted between each bead so that they sit evenly spaced, and protected. The strand measures 17 inches / 43 cm, sitting elegantly on the average collar bone.
